The Do-Not-Call registry works well to meet the desire consumers have to maintain their right to not be bothered by invasive marketing such as telemarketing. The ammendment proposed by the D.M.A. runs afoul of the spirit of the Do-Not-Call registry. I strongly oppose the ammendment, as I imagine so do the millions of American citizens who have registered with the Do-Not-Call list. We have a simple message for the D.M.A. and its constituent marketeers: "STFU and leave us alone." Sincerely, J Zachary Livingston
