|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I think that the current do not call list is fine the way it is. It is one of the few achievements that the average citizen can point at and say that the FTC has done its job. It has allowed families to actually have dinners together without worring about answering telephone calls from telemarketers. By modifiying the rules through the proposed rule changes you will prove that the FTC is only a tule of corporate interests. I have no desire to hear sales pitches from companies that I have an existing business relationship with. Not a single one.
