Allowing telemarketers to leave recorded messages on my answering machine is ludicrous. If I have to come to 20 or so messages will force me to throw the machine out and remove another of my vanishing freedoms, and privacy. In the last 20 or so years we citizens have had what freedoms we enjoy thrown out with the garbage. What ever happened to government for the people? It appears the government is selling out its citizens more and more. The only reason for doing this would appear to be some sort of financial payoff to politicians. nothing else makes any sense. What was the purpose in putting the Telemarketing Law in fhe first place if you were going to change it for the benefit of the telemarketers
