I am shocked that the FTC is proposing opening up the Do Not Call List to businesses who want to call me, unsolicited. I am on the List now but still receive unsolicited calls from businesses with whom I do *not* have a prior business relationship. This proposal would increase those calls dramatically. Worst of all, opening up the List to marketeers is a betrayal of those millions who have put their trust in the FTC to protect them. I urge you to please continue protecting those citizens who ask to be protected. Furthermore I urge the FCC to make reporting and enforcement easier so that it is no longer profitable for businesses to ignore the law. Sincerely, David Waggoner
