I am strongly against both of these proposals! When I signed up to the DO NOT CALL list I have indicated that I wish to receive no telemarketing calls. Prerecorded call all especially invvasive as they tie up the phone line for the duration of the call, even if I attemp to terminate it. This is not only inrritating it is a safety issue. I am also against the change in averaging period for abandoned calls. By streching the period, marketters will be able to call less-likely prospects during "off-times" on "off-days" in order to stack more calls to more desirable prospects during the most invasive hours. Please rule against both of these proposals. Thank you.
