|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I joined the Do-Not-Call list for one simple reason--I do not like phone solicitations, pre-recorded or otherwise. Before the list was activated, my family received as many as ten calls per day, quite frequently at very inopportune times. Now, we receive only one or two calls per week from businesses and non-profit organizations with which we wish to maintain relationships. The Direct Marketing Association is trying, miserably, to claw its way back into American homes, despite bitter opposition of the American people.
