I am absoultely against the notion of providing any information gathered by the 'do not call' registry to any form of telemarketing. If such a plan was in place prior to the creation of the registry, I would not have participated. The trade one from of intrusion for another is not a sensible or logical plan. The notion that such an idea is even being entertained, know that the people who registered do not want solicitations, if abosolutely unacceptable.
