The telemarketers would try to reach people in any form available: direct phone calles, pre-recorded messages and voice mail messages. Ever since the Do-Not-Call list has been enforced, I have not received many, if any, calls from those annoying telemarketers. I really enjoyed that the goverment, which was set up to help the regular people like me, really took the effort to eliminate the harassment from those eager for their gains in any means, even if it means to intrude other's privacy. Now to create a loophole in such a vastly successful law is astounding. There have been long histories of companies trying to find loopholes in existing laws for their own benefit and to create loopholes in the new ones. Why do we want to create a loophole for them when there is none? Regardless of what the impact of the loophole will be, the law in the current form is proven to be successful. Don't fix it if it ain't broke. I hope the goverment will not bent to some company's specific interest and sacrifice all the other individuals, which it is suppose to protect and support. The world is still a good place to live, even without the telemarketers.
