If the FTC actually has the temerity to allow telemarketers to bombard my house with canned calls, I will lobby my congressional representatives (7 from the state of Oregon) to cut the FTC's funding to zero. I will hound my representatives about this issue until I have satisfaction. I can't believe the FTC thinks that American consumers want their privacy invaded by canned pitches from the damned. Please, whomever at the FTC thought up this idea, don't breed. Our planet doesn't need any more stupid people. We've got plenty, thanks.
