Gentlemen: I write out of concern for your proposal to open certain "loopholes" in the national do-not-call list. I must urge you not to allow this or any action like it. I am greatly saddened and disappointed that you would even consider it. To do so is a betrayal of public trust. When the list was created, your agency assured us that this list would prevent call from telemarketers. Like many other people, I signed up for the list because I want no telemarketing calls AT ALL. I object to the calls that you already allow. I do NOT want, nor do I believe that any one else who signed up for the list, wants no calls except for those YOU decide to allow. Nor did I agree to allow the FTC to assemble a custom phone spammer list for sale to anyone they chose. I repeat--NO CALLS! Sincerely, Philip L. GIlmer
