Please leave the Do Not Call list alone. It is working! I am finally able to answer the phone without dreading a marketing pitch. If you give them a safe harbor, they will abuse it. I cannot afford an attorney to argue over the definition of "an established business relationship." Doing business with one company should not give all their affiliates permission to pester me. These companies are merging and selling assets all the time. Giving them a safe harbor is likely to encourage them to seek more loopholes. I want you to protect my interests. I should decide when an existing relationship is established. They should seek my permission before ignoring the Do Not Call entry. If someone violates my wish, it should be easy to report the abuse and force them to comply thereafter. Have the marketing guys promoted a means to handle these needs or are they just seeking loopholes? Richard
