Comments:
The telephone is the only device in a home where a person can have their privacy intruded upon by third parties. When a person goes to an electronics store they expect to face a sales pitch or two. The same goes for watching TV. People expect their telephones to be part of their safe, personal space. Allowing any leeway in the Do Not Call Registry will open the door back up to privacy invasion and harassment in the American home.
