I think that the do not call list is not strict enough. My parents are on the list and recieve lots of telemarketing calls by nonprofit organizations. I believe that phone service should not be susceptable to advertising or fund gathering of any form, because it is an invasion of the household, and also not a service paid for by the advertising unlike internet and television services, which rely on advertising funds to operate. Phone based solicitation should be banned in its entirity.
