At the office, most of the calls I answer are telemarketer recordings and they go right along through the hunt group line, so I concievably have to answer 15 of these calls before they stop. This is very bothersome and distracting. The last think I want to do is come home and face the same agravation! We are bombarded with television, magazine, newspaper, and billboard ads. We are overrun with paper-wasting mailings. We must wade through endless spam when checking our email. And we now have to endure commercials while waiting for a movie to start at the cinema. Isn't this enough??? It's time the consumer is treated with some respect. We are more than capable of researching purchases on our own without the torment of advertisers.
