As a recording engineer, most of my business comes from previous client relationships. In the fickle music industry, new relationships must be formed every day, since bands and artists can fall out of the limelight as quickly as they found it. When the phone rings, and I am the only one at the studio, I must answer it, in order to keep up this standard of customer service. To allow prerecorded telemarketing messages to reach me while at work would be counterproductive, and frequent calls of this type would ruin the service that is expected of me by my clients. Please do not allow this amendment to harm my livelihood. Thank you for your consideration.
