I support the 'Do Not Call' rule. I like it because it stops unwanted calls, both sales pitches and pre-recorded advertising. The rule should not be weakened by allowing pre-recorded messages. I don't understand why this change is even being considered. Pre-recorded messages are just as intrusive as personal sales pitches, maybe even more so. If the loophole is granted, then the consumers rights should be honored with another 'Do Not Call' list for pre-recorded messages. I bet there would be considerable redundancy between the two lists.
