You guys must be nuts for even considering such a change. The point of having a Do Not Call List is to keep parasites like the Direct Marketing Association from using my private property to annoy me--especially after I have extended the courtesy of asking them not to. Why does it take so much energy to be left alone? Instead of extending the "safe harbor," it should be eliminated and the penalties increased to confiscation of the offending marketer's property. This is just another case of the government selling out its citizens for the profit of a corrupt bureacracy by falsely offering "protection" and then perverting the law to allow exploitation by a narrow, selfish interest.
