I suppose it was inevitable that the Do Not Call list would be dissolved in some underhanded manner by a marketing lobby, but I must say I'm disappointed. When I signed up for the Do Not Call list, I did so because I don't want marketers to call me. Now you propose to amend it so that they can. "Prior business relationship" means "we bought your phone number" to a spammer. The Do Not Call list helps to protect us from the Direct Marketing Association. Please don't let them render it useless.
