Altering the rules for the Do Not Call list would reinvent the same situation that existed before the Do Not Call list was established. I do no want unwanted telemarking and answering machine spam. That is why I signed on the Do Not Call list. I don't even want to be solicited for products and or services from companies I do business with. If I want a service, I will request it. There are people who just don't want solicited business, and I am one of them. During the last days of the presidential campaign we received a number of pre-recorded messages, which I did not appreciate. Was this legal, or political? It has been nice not have calls come in when you just sit down to dinner or to relax and I would like to see that continue. Thank you. PLEASE DO NOT ALTER THE DO NOT CALL LIST.
