Do not pass this legislation that would allow companies I deal with to call me at home with recorded messages. Please! I deal almost exclusively with catalogues and internet and that leaves me wide open to countless companies I have dealt with. I do not want them contacting me in any capacity. When I want something I contact them. That is how the free market is suppose to work. To receive countless messages on my answer machine (which is tape -- not digital), will not only use up the space on my tape but may prevent me from receiving an important message because the tape is full of unwanted solicitations. DO NOT CALL means just that to me -- don't call me -- period. S. Diane Stephens-Victor
