This modification is absurd. I have already had companies using this "existing business relationship" to justify placing sales calls to me even though I'm on the "don't call list". If you make this legal, there will be even more people calling. I don't want sales people or their machines to call. Ever. Are you paying attention? Quit bothering me! And you government people, find something else to do. If I want to buy something, I'll get in touch with a vendor. Leave me alone. If you insist on changing this law, then change it to include political messages. It was really annoying to answer the phone multiple times a day during this last political cycle only to hear the first 4 words of a political message before I got the receiver back down. Leave me alone. I'm busy. mk
