|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I am *outraged* that a loophole in the use of the Do Not Call list is being considered, which would allow pre-recorded marketing messages to people who have registered to not be called. The entire point of the Do Not Call list is to give beleaguered citizens some respite from the constant annoyance of telemarketers, both human and machine. Any amendment that weakens that protection is abhorrent. Please do not allow such modifications to the use of the Do Not Call list. Thank you.
