The "Do not call list" seems to work pretty well in its current form. Telemarketing is simply a form of organized abuse of an individual's private resource. The individual who pays for this resource must retain the right to control who has access to it. Please do not allow further intrusion into private households by marketers that shouldn't have any any right to market via telephone. Telemarketers' use of an individual's telephone service as a sales vehicle is no different than their using the individual's electrical or gas service to further their sales efforts. Please make telemarketing in any form and/or to any communications device illegal.
