Please do not amend the rules to allow telemarketers to contact consumers with pre-recorded messsages. The fact that these solicitations would be limited to organizations with which I currently do business is irrelevant. All telephone solicitations are an unwelcome intrusion and an abuse of my telephone service. To amend the rules as proposed would seriously compromise the purpose and effectiveness of the "Do Not Call List". Leave the present rules in place and in tact. I do not want to be solicited by anyone for anything by telephone. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
