|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I was disappointed to read in the newspaper that this loophole was being proposed. The Do Not Call registry has been wonderful. My answering machine is no longer bombarded daily with voice spam and my evening dinner is not interrupted by someone offering me the deal of a lifetime. Not only is voice spam ineffective as a marketing tool, but it wastes my time to have to delete all of them. Remember: If it's not broken, don't fix it. Please do not pass this amendment.
