I do not wish to see the rules of the "Do Not Call" List changed. I value my privacy and peace at home. I do not wish to put up with annoying intrusions into this precious time. I put up with numerous calls from political organizations and candidates during the recent election but must say after the peace of not being bothered by telemarketers for so long it was extremely annoying! I am a person who chooses to decide for herself which products I wish to purchase and which companies I choose to conduct business with. I do like being psychologically manipulated by any of them. I do not wish to have my homelife interrrupted by having to answer the phone to listen to annoying recorded messages. Invariably it wil occur when I am the busiest. To have to drop what I am doing for this just isn't acceptable to me. If I want to hear from a business, I'll let them know. I also feel that all businesses must be able to be identified on Caller ID. Only showing "Unavailable" or something similar isn't fair to those of us who don't want to have to bother with these calls. In my case my bills are paid so I'm not hiding from any companies I owe so I have a right to know who is calling and to choose whether or not to answer the phone. So please do not change the rules and invade the peace of my home and insult my intelligence and right to make my own choices!
