The do not call list has again made my home phone a useful instrument for incoming communication. DO NOT even consider changing the existing rules to allow ANY kind of incoming phone advertising or solicitation, mechanized or not. I think it is outrageous that you would even consider such changes. I will immediately notify my Congressman and Senators of my loathing for your proposal. I can see a big difference between your proposal and the mountains of aggravating email spam I receive daily. The difference to me is that my email spam can be eliminated by me, for free, in a few seconds time. Your proposal commits my time without any scheduling and without my consent to the tune of many minutes per month. This inconveniences me and those individuals and organizations who seek to contact me when I am forced to use an answering device to screen my calls. Just don't.
