I am opposed to the FTC allowing a loophole in the Do Not Call Registry law that would allow pre-recorded telemarketing messages. Since registering I have received no unsolicited telephone calls and I am very pleased with the results. I believe that the pre-recorded messages are just as offensive and invasive as a real person call and I do not want my answering machine to have to record these messages and then I have to delete them. Further I do not think that I should have to opt out. If someone wants to accept calls of this nature then they should have to opt in. Please do not change the law or create a loophole. I like it just the way it is. Thank you.
