|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:It's pretty simple to set up a calling system to deliver a prerecorded message to phone numbers in a sequential fashion. And, it's much cheaper than hiring people to make the calls. It's easy to conceive how telemarketers would jump on this opportunity. It's bad enough to be disturbed by a phone call with a live person. But to be disturb by a phone call with a prerecorded message is a far bigger nuisance.
