I signed up for the do not call list wanting it to block unsolicited phone calls from business, whether or not I've made a purchase from them in the past (and I would bet that that's not all it takes to to be considered a prior business relationship). Prerecorded phone messages delivered by 3rd parties would be exactly what I'm trying to avoid. Neither of these amendments have any merit, and if the FTC cares to protect citizens rather than businesses, it will throw them out.
