Dear Sirs, I feel that eroding, in any way, the protections that the 'Do Not Call' registry provide would be at minimum a gross violation of our privacy. I myself had signed for this protection with the understanding that a telemarketer would not be able use my number for solicitation. Period. It matters not if that call is a real person or a recorded message. It is my home that these companies are calling. This registry has provided me with the ablity to refuse entrance into my home. I appreciate greatly the efforts of the FTC in battling the violation of privacy that is telemarketing. Thank you for your time,.
