I see this proposed amendment as an attempt to intrude upon my privacy and the peaceful enjoyment of my home. Whether I have done business with a firm or not, I do not conside my having a phone line an open invitation for anyone to call me with advertisements of any sort. I have greatly enjoyed the reduced calls to my home from the 'Do Not Call' act, since so much of my time was wasted answer calls I had no interest in receiving. I do not wish to see any amendment succeed that would increase in any way the calls I am getting. Let's keep the loopholes closed, as much as possible, and companies off my phone line.
