The introduction of the "Do Not Call" list was a giant step forward in individual privacy and has been acclaimed countrywide. I understand that the 'FTC' is being asked to amend the rule and allow pre-recorded messages to be sent to individuals where they have an established business relationship. It is my experience that I have never failed to receive a call from someone that I have an established business relationship with. They are not excluded from calling me under the present law. To allow this change would be, at the very least, a watering down of a law that has is working very well for the individual. The law was established at the behest of the public who eagerly sought the law. Unless I am completely out of touch I do not hear any behest from the public to have the law changed. Thank you.
