I find the proposed amendments outrageous. I have signed up for the blocked call service because I was receiving up to ten telemarketing calls per day. I asked Verizon to do something about it and they told me I would have to pay them additional money to keep my name off of lists for telemarketing calls and they couldn't guarentee that their service would prevent all calls from coming in. The service provided by the state has been great. I do not want to be bothered by telemarketers at home. If I want to hear from somone I will give them my number myself.
