I would not want companies to be able to leave pre-recorded messages on my machine, even if I had 'an established relationship' with them. If they are calling for legitimate reasons, they will have something they need to discuss with me individually. If they are leaving pre-recorded messages then it is something they are calling hundreds or thousands of people with, which means they are selling something. I do not want these calls filling up my answering machine. I also fear that without the cost prohibitiveness of having employees make phone calls, the spam could run rampant. The other problem with 'established business' calling, is they may own other companies unrelated to the business you did with the first company that are allowed to bother you because they are under the same company umbrella. Please do your best to protect consumer's privacy and right to peace and quiet. Thank you. Amy Venditti
