FTC, As a consumer, I am strongly opposed to any regulation that allows prerecorded messages to be sent to my telephone by any business (whether I've had previous dealing with them or not). This would just be more intrusive harrassment shattering my quiet and peaceful life. I will be the one to initiate a call to a business if I want to interact with them. The National Do Not Call Registry has been helpful in reducing calls. We should be strengthening that to reduce intrusive calls even further, not increasing the intrusion by allowing prerecorded messages.
