Do not call lists came out because telemarketers have no respect for the person being called. The only thing they care about is the money that they receive for making those calls. Now that there is a national do not call list the telemarketers are starting to see their income suffer. This is caused by their past practice of abusing the people whom they call. People placed themselves on the do not call list because they are fed up with telemarketers calling them. The telemarketers dug the hole they are in and now they are paying the consequences of their prior actions. I put my name on the Do Not Call list for a reason. I do NOT wish to receive ANY telemarketing calls of any type. I am fed up with being called at dinner time and on weekends to have someone try to sell me things. Do not open this loophole. The only people who will benefit are the telemarketers themselves.
