Dear Sirs: I do not want any business, religious organization or political party calling my home for any reason (by machine or in person), other than a security alert from my banking partners. Since the "do not call" register has taken effect, the quality of our home lives has improved a great deal, and many thanks go to the FTC! Now, it is time for you to take this to the next level and prohibit ALL BUSINESS, RELIGIOUS AND POLITICAL CALLS to a home residence. If I want any information from these three groups, I will contact them through the internet, or by outgoing telephone. There is absolutely nothing these proups have to say that I want to hear, with the exception of possible fraud on my banking/credit accounts. In no way am I willing to be bothered by a machine while I am enjoying the privacy and comfort of an evening at home. You have done a great job so far...now it is time to take the final step and make it illegal to bother my family when we are enjoying the privacy of our home. On another matter, since you have stopped the idiot telemarketers from calling my homne, they are now calling our office, sometimes as many as 10 calls a day. This should be ILLEGAL as it is costing my company money and time to answer the phones, and deal with these idiots. As a small business owner, I have the right not to be harassed by overly aggressive telemarketers that are distracting my employees from their assigned tasks. Their constant harrassment is costing me thousnads of dollars per year, and must be stopped. Pleae...stop all home and business telemarkeing and fax blasting. These people are stealing my time and money and should be put in jail! Sincerely, John R. Long
