I very much object to allowing businesses to send recorded messages to those on the Do Not Call Registry under the guise of a pre-existing business relationship or failure to "opt-out". Those of use with our names on the Registry are there for that specific reason, we do NOT want to be called, and recorded messages may be worse than live ones in terms of annoyance. Please do NOT allow this "loophole". I understand this is being proposed with the idea of conforming FTC requirements to FCC requirements. I think the FCC should conform to your restrictions, and not vice versa. The idea that this would not have any dramatic results or impact on consumers is naive. The telemarketing industry will be all over this and we will again be inundated with calls. Joan Lavell
