Please do NOT change the status of the Do Not Call Registry rules and wording. I wish to receice calls from real people who are important to me, not prerecorded "messages" that take up the space on my answering machine. I have already experienced this annoyance with a company that has the wrong phone number listed. They leave a long message and it occasionally fills the machine up, leaving no room for the messages I value and often times need. I can only imagine this occuring regularly if the wording and rules are changed. Yes, I could get more message space with a new machine, but this would only be neccesary to accomodate the telemarketers. This does not serve me and the values I have. I never wish to be solicited over the phone in any way. There are plenty of numbers that are not listed for the marketers to converge on. Please support and protect my rights to peace and privacy in my own home from marketers calls. I also have a concern for the elderly. My Grandmother is easily confused by telemarketing ads from companies she knows or does business with. I wish to keep this stress out of her life and the lives of all the care givers for the elderly who eventually have to manage these unneccesary complications. WE ALL CHOSE TO BE ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY FOR A REASON! PLEASE honor our Chioce as it is currently stated in the rules. Thank You! Ms Walli
