Comments:
Information I have received indicates a proposal allowing companies to deliver "pre-recorded message telemarketing" calls to individuals registered in the National Do No Call List has been presented. I am vigorously opposed to such a measure. I should not have to opt-out of such marketing messages after registering with the National Do Not Call List in order to be free of disruptive and annoying unsolicited calls. Whan I require a business contact, I am quite capable of making that call or Internet connection without receiving, yet again, unsolicited calls. My sister, who lives with me, is legally deaf and such calls only complicate her life further. I add my name to those who oppose and request that this proposal or any of similar nature be given no further consideration.
