|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:No exceptions should be allowed for recorded messages. The part I like about the Do Not Call list is the Do Not Call part. At last resort, any exception should be opt-in, not opt-out. Interested companies should be required to obtain prior consent before disturbing me at home to peddle their goods. Receiving a recorded message is even more offensive than being called by a live person.
