I do not want a rule change that will allow companies with which I have an existing business relationship to send recorded telephone communications to me. When I signed up for the Do Not Call List, I knew what would and would not be permitted. If I had wanted recorded telephone communications from businesses with which I do business, I would not have signed up for the list. If you think FTC and FCC rules must be brought in line, I suggest it is the FCC rule that ought to be changed. Start treating citizens as adults responsible for the decisions they have made, rather than as children for whom you have to do things for because you think they may not have understood what it was they were electing to do.
