Prerecorded messages are nothing but a nuisance. If I want something from a business I will go to their store, connect to their website, or order from their catalog. I do not need them to contact me. Who listens to prerecorded messages? Who? Additionally, averaging calls over a 30 day period versus 3 calls per day allows a company to harass someone with numerous calls in a very short time frame. If only companies I already deal with call me then what purpose does their call serve? I fail to see the need for telemarketers and I resent the invasion of my home and privacy.
