Comments:
This comment opposes the proposed revision to the Do Not Call Registry Program which would allow companies to deliver pre-recorded message telemarketing over the telephone. Now that the public finally has some peace and quiet without being constantly annoyed by telemarketing calls, you want to allow an exception for pre-recorded calls! You are quoted in the newspaper as saying the change would not have any dramatic results- what planet are you guys living on? We would be flooded with pre-recorded calls which are, if anything, more annoying than calls from a live person since you do not have the opportunity to express your displeasure at having received the call.
