Please don't weaken the Do Not Call registry! Our email is flooded with spam now so please don't allow the same thing to happen to our phone answering services/machines. It was bad enough during the election - found dozens of recorded messages on my machine - but at least I knew that was only for a limited time. Companies wishing to push their products can run ads or use direct mail (in addition to the internet they overuse now) but don't allow them to fill up the phone lines too. After all, that was why the Do Not Call registry received such a great response from us poor little consumers. Thank you.
