I read with dismay that the FTC is considering allowing recorded messages to be delivered to my telephone, in controvention to the well suited DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. How absulutely absurd, bearucratic, and a sop to commercialism. Worse, it is crass politics. I'm a registered Republican, and this shames me. My family and I enojoy our privacy in the evenings, as well as throughout the rest of the day. I impore you not to adopt this legislation. Citizens have a right to privacy. Period.
