I am strongly apposed to this proposed revision. We receive enough contacts from companies we do business with, we don't need more. If we want to do more business with them that should be our option. Pre-recorded messages are an even more intrusive act. We can only hang up, we can't ask them to not call again. It also allows marginally-compliant companies to stretch the rules by calling everyone, then making it hard for people to opt-out.
