Comments:
The FTC should not amend the Telemarketing Sales Rule at all. We, the overwhelming number of American's who have already registered for the "Do Not Call" list, could not make it understood any more clearly that we do not want to receive any sales calls over the telephone, be they pre-recorded or not. Additionally the FTC should not allow the proposed amendment to remove the phrase "measured per day per calling campaign" as that provides a more reasonable degree of accountability than is proposed. Please do not amend the Telemarketing Sales Rule! It has provided some peace in our lives and is working!
