Comments:
I pay for my telephone service; the telemarketers don't pay my phone bill. I cannot accept the fact that they have more rights than I do--I pay; they don't. It should be my perogative on whether I accept their annoying phone calls, period! I should be able to sign up--PROBLEM SOLVED. Where are my rights to have a telephone, that I pay for, and not be annoyed by someone selling something or begging for a donation. (This includes charities, prior business contacts, etc.) They can mail their correspondence to me. Incidentally, I am signed up with the State of Indiana's no-call list because it is more effective than the national no-call list.
